Where can I find my ticket?

You can find your ticket in the Web Summit Qatar mobile app. Log into the app and tap the menu icon (=) at the top left corner of the screen. Tap ‘My ticket’ to access your ticket, which is in the form of a QR code. You must show this QR code before entering the venue in order to register and collect your accreditation.

You can also access your ticket via your confirmation email, which you should have received shortly after purchasing your ticket.

If you cannot locate your confirmation email, you can access your ticket dashboard here by entering the email address associated with your ticket(s).

How do I build my profile?

The first step to building your attendee profile is downloading the Web Summit Qatar mobile app. On your first login, we will ask you for basic personal information, including:

• Your job title.
• The company you work for.
• Where you’re based.

We will also ask what topics you’re interested in, and the areas of expertise you can share with your fellow attendees.

Finally, you’ll also be asked to upload a profile picture. This will make interactions with attendees more personal.

What information will be visible on my profile?

Your profile will display basic personal information, including your profile picture, full name, job title, the company you work for, the industry you’re in and the country you’re joining from.

Your email address will not be visible unless you choose to connect with another attendee.

Can I chat with other attendees on the app?

You can reach out to any of your fellow Web Summit Qatar attendees through the mobile app.

Starting a chat with another attendee is simple. When you find someone you would like to connect with, simply select the attendee’s profile, tap the chat icon to the right of their profile picture and send a message.

The Web Summit Qatar app is available for iOS and Android.

How can I build a personal event schedule?

You can build a personal event schedule for each day of Web Summit Qatar using the mobile app.

You can search for talks and masterclasses by tapping on the schedule tab in the event app, located on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen. You can use the search bar at the top of the screen to search by keyword or filter by track.

Once you find a talk that interests you, tap the calendar icon beside the title to add the session to your own schedule. You can access your schedule by tapping ‘Schedule on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen and selecting ‘My schedule’.

Any meetings that you create with other attendees or companies will also be added to your personal event schedule.

How can I find the talks that interest me?

The schedule tab, located on the menu bar at the bottom the mobile app screen, is where you’ll find all talks taking place at the event. It shows the full lineup of sessions and events, listing where they’ll take place and the topics they’ll cover. You can browse talks by the date on which they take place.

We also recommend talks for you based on the interests listed on your event profile. Just click ‘Recommended’ on the schedule tab to discover these options.

You can use the search function on the mobile app if you want to find a particular talk or masterclass. Click ‘Explore’ on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen, then tap ‘Sessions’ at the top of the screen. You can then search for a talk, speaker name or keyword using the search bar, or tap ‘Filters’ to discover talks by content track, topic, format or date.

Once you have found talks that interest you, you can click the calendar icon beside their title to add them to your personal event schedule.

You can also browse the Web Summit Qatar schedule on our website. Use the filters to discover talks by topic, content track and format, or use the search box to find what you’re looking for.

How can I use the app to network with others at Web Summit Qatar?

Our mobile app is your key to finding and connecting with other attendees before Web Summit Qatar even begins.

You can use the explore tab of the app to find people you want to meet and to view their attendee profiles.

From here,you can message attendees privately, plan meetings using your personal event schedule, or contact companies and speakers for a one-to-one chat.

How can I start a chat?

Starting a chat with another attendee is simple. When you’ve found someone you’d like to connect with, click the chat icon next to the attendee’s profile picture.

You can also start a new chat in the chats tab of the app. Click the chat icon at the top of your screen then tap the create message icon to search for attendees by name or keyword.

How can I set up a meeting?

The Web Summit Qatar app is your key to meeting with attendees from around the world.

To set a meeting, find the person you’d like to connect with and click ‘Request a meeting’ on their attendee profile. You will then be prompted to add a meeting name, time, location, and description.

After tapping ‘Save’, a request will be sent to the attendee. If they accept your meeting invite, the meeting will appear in your personal schedule, which you can find by tapping ‘Schedule’ in the app’s navigation bar then tapping ‘My schedule’.

You can also edit your meetings – changing the name, time, location and details – by selecting the meeting you would like to change and tapping the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
